Be Our Guest

It’s almost wedding season and instead of us getting married, some of us are invited guests! I know for me getting the perfect weeding outfit always stresses me out.  Can’t wear white because that’s a rule or something but you find a great dress in white because white is the color of spring! But also if it rains, maybe pants would be a better option.  Oh and it’s in early spring so it could be cold so now I need a jacket.  I mean really???  I’d rather for whatever I’m wearing to be a no-brainer and simple but also stand out.  I mean who can top the bride but you still like to turn a head or two right?? I loved this dress as soon as I saw it because of the pattern.  As I said on a previous blog post, florals are huge for spring and what better place to wear floral than to a spring wedding!  You will look like you didn’t even think about it and it’s something you just had hanging in your closet.  Simple but make an impact is my motto.  The way these flowers are placed on this particular also creates curves on the body and hides any imperfections which always a plus! Oh and it’s major sale!

One of my best friends and I just recently saw Beauty and the Beast which is why this title was appropriate! It was against my will but she has to be the biggest Beauty and the Beast fan alive so why not.  It was cute to say the least but most of all it gave me inspiration for the blog title so thanks Nik!

Sometimes we can’t be always predict the weather for an early spring wedding.  Especially if you live in the Washington DC area you know that our weather has been so up and down lately.  I threw on this waterfall faux leather jacket to keep warm on those cold nights and being that a lot of weddings are outside this time of year I think it’s more than appropriate.  This shade of a taupey gray won’t upstage the dress underneath all the while complimenting your silhouette!

Below are few other of my faves for a spring wedding look! Enjoy!
